Skeletal flower

While spring cleaning my flower garden I came across what I believe is a bell flower...it's skeletal remains.

Staying power. I wonder if my daffodils are up yet? I'll know by Friday. I plan to finish cleaning out the beds and get the manure in if the weather lets me this trip. Then I'll do what little planting I plan to do at the end of April. Not ideal, but probably good enough for this year. - Margy

That is the remains of a Japanese Lantern plant. ;)

That's right! It is a Japanese Lantern flower. I forgot that a friend of mine gave me a plant last year...Thanks
